Zippersplosion!
There's this guy on eBay who sells zippers. This is the second time I've ordered from him, and MANG, lemmee tell ya. These are some zippers! YKK Talon polyester coil zippers, these are 7"-8" long, cost me less than $15, including shipping. A hundred of them!
Had I bought Coats and Clark zippers at my nearby store where such things are sold, they would have run me more than a buck apiece.
SQUEE!

I buy zippers from him too. He's the BEST source of zippers. Wish he sold fabric too!

I (heart) Zipperstop (the eBay guys) -- they have a mail-order operation, too, if you need specific colors in quantity. www.zipperstop.com

We have a Nikon D50, which is an SLR fancy-pants camera, but they're MUCH less expensive now than they were a year or two ago. And as for light, I try to photograph during the day as much as possible, and use natural light. Flashes look ka-ka. Also, if it's dark, sometimes I'll use the tripod and just take the picture with a loooong exposure without a flash. The color isn't usually as true, but it's better than flashy flashy ka-ka.

Kerri, you always take such great photos of your work. What kind of lighting/ camera do you use?

The fronts are heavyweight vinyl, not the heaviest one, but the 2nd heaviest one. It's always super-cheap in the JoAnn remnant bin.

Too cute! What do you use for the front, is it just thick clear vinyl? I love the PMS kit. :-)
Zipperstop FTW!
