Too Much Yarn!

I have two skeins of sugar n' cream. They've been sitting in my stash since December. Two big ol' balls of the stuff. In bright red. Clown red.

So - here's my question. What the heck do I DO with these? I know I could go the dishtowel route, but man - you can actually have too many dishtowels. Also - I've heard sugar n' cream BLEEDS a lot - and I just don't relish the thought of a dishtowel that makes my dishes dirtier (at least for a little while).

Kerri suggested clown socks, but my feet are pretty small.

What would YOU do with two skeins of bright red cotton yarn?

You should make that cowgirlish hat in Happy Hooker :) I will make that one day...when time falls in my lap LOL

How about the everlasting bagstopper? http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATTeverlasting.html
Which is a variation of the saturday market bag:

(I think the saturday market bag came first, actually)
Just be sure you knit them--especially the saturday market bag--on small enough needles. I knit one from Cotton Ease on 15's (US) and things just fall or poke right out of it! But 11's or so (US) should be good!
Let us all know how it goes!

Test a small hank of the yarn in a jar of hot water. You'll know quickly if it is going to bleed. If not, I just love the heart dish cloths from the the blooklet "Dishcloths from the Heart". They are great gifts for friends who appreciate your hand work. See the booklet here:

How about a fun pair of slippers with a pompom on the top! Or a cover for one of your couch pillows!

EYE PATCH

how about double-knitting (on smaller needles for a snug knit) a dog toy for little dogs, or a bath mitt? Sugar and Cream gets nice and soft with use--it should make a yummy mitt.
